If the CD does not "auto-run" when inserted into your CD
Player then it means your computer is not set to "auto play"
a disk when inserted.
To permanently
fix this, open your HELP file for Windows and enter "auto play"
as the keywords to search on. You will be given step by step instructions
that way so you can change it.
IF
YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THOSE CHANGES OR DO NOT KNOW HOW, READ THIS:
If you
do not want to turn "auto play" on, then it's easy to get
around that and access the CD's.
Here
is exactly what you do.
1) Insert
CD into your cd drive.
2) Open
your "My Computer" icon to go into your computer properties.
There
you will see drive letters for all your separate drives, such as "A
- Floppy Disk", "C", "D", "E",
"F", and so forth.
One
of those drive letters belongs to your CD Player. It may be drive
E or F.
What
you need to look for is the Drive letter that has the CD title next to it.
3) When
you find the drive letter and CD title, then double click that. That
will start the CD playing in your drive.
You
may want to note the drive letter that you just clicked on, so next
time you put in a CD you can go into "My Computer" and go
straight to that drive letter to activate the disk!
